Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome on Newgale Sands Beach, but there are seasonal restrictions. From May 1st to the end of September, dogs are not allowed on the central part of the beach, but the sections at the north and south ends remain open to dogs all year round. It is advised to check local signage to make sure you stay in the correct areas.
Things To See & Do
Newgale Sands offers nearly two miles of beach, providing plenty of room for long walks, games, and exploration with your dog. The beach is backed by a pebble bank formed by high tides, which adds to its unique landscape.
The beach is renowned for its excellent surfing and windsurfing conditions, making it a great spot for water sports enthusiasts.

Newgale Sands is easily accessible with a large car park running alongside the beach.
Facilities include toilets, seasonal lifeguards, a surf shop, cafe, pub and campsite at the northern end of the beach
