About
The four miles of Swansea Bay stretch from Swansea Marina at the mouth of the River Tawe to Mumbles Head in the west. The beach faces southeast towards the Bristol Channel, and the best sandy spots are near Swansea.
A promenade runs along the edge of the bay and in the middle is Blackpill, with a cafe and paddling pools.
Dog Access and Rules
Swansea Bay Beach has a seasonal dog ban from 1st May to 30th September.

Access and Facilities
Multiple parking areas, public toilets, cafés, and restaurants line the promenade. The beach is lifeguarded in peak months and offers wheelchair-friendly access points at several locations.
