Things To See & Do
Tresilian Bay beach is a rocky beach with small amounts of sand at low tide, located halfway between Llantwit Major and St. Donats. The walk along this stretch of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast is very good, passing limestone cliffs, caves, and small bays like Tresilian Bay.
This stretch has a lot of caves at low tide but you do need to be careful as the cliffs can be unstable.
Access and Facilities
While Tresilian Bay offers abundant natural beauty, facilities are non-existent and it can’t be reached by car. The closest facilities are a coastal walk away at Llantwit Major in the east or St Donats to the west.
If you are travelling by car, the best option is to park at Llantwit Major Beach, which has a picturesque cliffside walk leading to Tresilian Bay.
