About
Bracklesham Bay Beach is a sandy, dog-friendly beach with a gently shelving shore, perfect for swimming or just paddling! At high tide, the sand disappears, and the beach is shingle.
This beach has amazing views southwest across the Solent to the Isle of Wight on a clear day. Bracklesham Bay is quieter than the neighbouring East Wittering and West Wittering beaches.
It is a great location for beachcombing as if you stroll along the shoreline on a falling tide, and you may spot fossils like shark teeth.
Facilities include restaurant/cafe, toilets, a slipway, and good car parking, whilst the local village of East Wittering offers more facilities.
