About
Hannafore Beach is a dog-friendly pebble beach with some sandy patches and lots of rock pools at low tide. It is a long beach on the west side of Looe Estuary and has a small grass area between the beach and the road.
The main beach at Looe (Looe East Beach) has a total dog ban, so it is one of the few dog-friendly beaches in this area. Due to its large size, it is never too busy, although, at high tide, most of the beach is underwater.
Access and Facilities
Hannafore Beach is easily accessible by car and on foot. If you’re driving, there’s plenty of parking. For those walking from East Looe, itโs a short stroll across the bridge and a 10-15 minute walk through West Looe.
Public transport also services the area, with Looe Train Station around 20-25 minutes away on foot.
Facilities at Hannafore Beach include car parking, toilets, a kiosk, and cafes. The kiosk and cafes’ opening times vary depending on the season and the weather.
