About
Newtrain Bay Beach is also known as Rocky Beach, and this pretty much describes what you get.
The beach is great for shell collecting and rock pooling, which should not be a surprise based on the Rocky Beach name. When the tide is high, you have no beach, but as the tide goes out, you get large rock slabs interspersed with rock pools.
You even have a natural seawater swimming pool, although no dogs.
Dog Access and Rules
Newtrain Bay Beach is dog-friendly year-round and is located beside Trevone Bay Beach, a sandy beach that has daytime seasonal restrictions.
Access and Facilities
The beach is backed by the coastal path, and for facilities, you should start at Trevone Bay, which has car parking, a shop and a place to eat.
