Newtrain Bay Beach is also known as Rocky Beach, and this pretty much describes what you get. The beach is located beside Trevone Bay Beach near Padstow.
The beach is great for shell collecting and rock pooling, which shouldn’t surprise you given the name Rocky Beach. At high tide, you have no beach, but as the tide goes out, you get large rock slabs interspersed with rock pools.
You even have a natural seawater swimming pool, although no dogs.
Dog Access and Rules
Newtrain Bay Beach is dog-friendly year-round, but it is very rocky and may not suit some dogs. A good option when you have the Trevone Bay seasonal daytime restrictions.
