About
Reighton Sands Holiday Park sits on the cliffs near Filey, looking over a huge sweep of sand where dogs are welcome all year. It feels smaller and calmer than some of the other big parks on this stretch of North Yorkshire coast, so it suits people who want beach and walks first, and bright lights second.
Dog Access and Rules
Reighton Sands is dog‑friendly in the usual Haven way. There’s a dog-friendly beach and restaurant terrace as well as a designated space inside the main restaurant.
What's On Offer
There are the usual activities you would expect to keep families happy. There’s also a restaurant, bar area, takeaway options and a small shop for basics, so you don’t have to drive out every time someone wants milk or chips.
Things To See & Do
The star of a dog‑friendly Reighton Sands stay is the beach. There’s direct access down a steep slope to Reighton Sands Beach, a big sandy bay that runs into Filey Bay, and dogs are allowed all year. At low tide, the sand goes out a long way, so you can walk big loops, throw the ball without feeling like you’re in anyone’s way, and let most dogs off lead once you’re away from the access point and any busy patch.
There’s also plenty to do on top of the cliffs. You can follow paths along the headland towards Filey or down the coast, with sea views and grass under paws. Short drives open up Hunmanby Gap, Filey, Flamborough and Bempton Cliffs, which all add more coastal walking and a mix of on‑lead and off‑lead sections, depending on wildlife.
Access and Facilities
Reighton Sands Holiday Park sits just off the main coast road between Filey and Bridlington, so it’s straightforward by car, with clear signs into the park.
