Pedn Vounder Beach

Pedn Vounder beach is a dog-friendly sandy beach with the cliffs of Treryn Dinas. The eastern headland of the beach is the location of Logan’s Rock, a rectangular block of granite which can be rocked back and forth by one person.

At high tide, the beach disappears and you need to be careful to not get cut off.

Pedn Vounder is a beach with no facilities and is not easy to get to with the closest car parks being at Porthcurno. The final stage of the coast path walk is a descent down steep rocks at the western end of the bay. It is possible at low tide to walk from Porthcurno beach but you need to be careful as the fast tides can force you to take the coast path back which involves steep climbs.
