Seasonal Restrictions

Often locations have seasonal restrictions in place, usually because the area can get very busy or where nesting birds or other wildlife need protection. These restrictions are generally in place from Easter to the end of September, which includes school holidays and breeding seasons for many species of birds and wildlife. During this time, dogs may be prohibited from specific areas or must be kept on a lead at all times.

Our Seasonal Restrictions tag marks a location as allowing dogs but where some local rules or regulations could impact a visit. A typical example is where a beach between Easter and  October does not allow dogs at busy times of the day.
