Situated in 35 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, Lappa Valley is just outside Newquay, only four miles from the town centre and only 10 miles away from Truro.
Many family-friendly activities to enjoy at Lappa Valley, from our boating lake to the adventure golf course, the main railway, and two narrow-gauge (Newlyn Downs Branch Line or lakeside) lines, outdoor adventures, an indoor soft play area, and, in the summer months, a number of short walks.
Dog Access and Rules
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. A small charge per dog, and they are welcome on the Steam Railway, boats, Newlyn Downs Branch Line and numerous nature walks.
In the main season, you have a woodland walk, and a dedicated dog exercise field where you can let them off their lead to let off steam and even have a paddle in the stream.
You will also find a dog-friendly cafe, water bowls across the site, and special Doggy Ice Cream.
Access and Facilities
Lappa Valley is easy to get by car as its just 4 miles from Newquay, and only 10 miles away from Truro, and has a large free car park. If you are tavelling by bus, it is on the main Truro and Newquay route that stops in St Newlyn East, and then is just under a 20 minute walk to Lappa Valley.
