About
Landcombe Cove is an isolated dog-friendly beach below wooded cliffs. It is on the South West Coast Path, just along from Blackpool Sands, reached on foot, which is a great dog-friendly walk along the clifftops with panoramic views of the unspoiled beauty of South Devon’s coastline.
The walk down to the beach is steep and rugged in places, but this is one reason there are never crowds there.
The beach itself is a pebble and shingle beach that, at low tide, provides sandy stretches and rockpools.
When planning a visit to Landcombe Cove, it’s important to go prepared, as there are no facilities at the cove.
